    PhD in Mathematics Education, graduate in Arts and Humanities, specializing in Education Sciences, and a graduate in Teaching specializing in Basic General Education. She has worked as a kindergarten and elementary school teacher in the Catalan public school system. She has provided continuous training to working teachers for more than twenty years in Catalonia, and she has also collaborated extensively with the Governments of Navarra, the Basque Country and Cantabria. She has directed and coordinated the bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) for six years. She is a member of the Consolidated Research Group on Educational Practices and Mathematical Activity (GIPEAM) and associate professor in the Department of Teaching of Mathematics and Experimental Sciences at UAB, a department she was also director of. She has developed innovative projects with ICE (Institute of Educational Sciences) at UAB, the Department of Education of the Catalan government and she has been collaborating with Innovamat for 3 years.
